Delta gives you much more than just job opportunities and new contacts. By talking to representatives from many different companies, startups, and non-profit organizations, you get the opportunity to develop a better understanding of what you actually want to do after your studies.
You can, among other things, get:
- Insights into what you want – and don't want – to work with.
- An idea of which companies and organizations work with what you're interested in.
- An understanding of what it's actually like to work within an area you're curious about.
- Insights into which paths lead to employment and what companies value in candidates.
- Information about which companies offer thesis projects.
- Information about who offers summer jobs and how to go about applying.
You don't need to be looking for a job for Delta to be valuable. Walking around, asking questions, and talking to different representatives can give you insights that are hard to get anywhere else.
As a D- or C-student, your presence is also one of the best ways to contribute to both your own and the guild's future.
The more students who participate, the stronger Delta’s importance becomes and the better the opportunities for future students.
